P.C.B boiler question

Great website - my second post but I'd like to ask all boiler engineers a question if I may please?

On a PCB inside a boiler what parts does it contain - I know it's the electronic part that sends out and receives voltages from other components, but how does it do this?

What exactly are you trying to find out?

just trying to find out roughly how they work / why they go faulty / signs when they go faulty
