Hi!
I painted over a gloss painted wall in emulsion ( durr) and its all crazing now.
Clearly I should have treated the gloss first with something - any ideas what I do now - sand it all back and start again?
It is in a bathroom - just that the colour I wanted was only available in emulsion or satinwood ( seemed expensive to paint walls in satinwood!!)
Grateful for any tips!

Apply a coat of zinsser paint primer on it and then re-paint with slightly thinned down coats.

Thanks for that. Can I apply the zinsser or undercoat over the sanded down crazed emulsion or must I take it back to the gloss do you think?

depends how much the cracs show through the next coat.

Its pretty bad - was looking at it again last night. Flat bed sander I recon.
Thanks for your help - going to take it back to gloss and start again. More mess..........
