Hi,
I've got an issue with the paint in my front room that is continually coming away in patches like on the image.
When I investigate it by tapping the wall it would suggest there's an old chimney flume or something there as it sounds hollow behind.
I've read a vent will solve this but I'm wondering if there's anything else that will solve it before I get a great big vent square in the middle of my front room wall?
