I've recently fitted a shower-tray using a riser kit. The joists run the wrong way for the waste so I've had to install it using a riser kit and to get an adequate fall it's about 1cm higher than the plastic plinth surround that came with the riser kit.
Rather than fill the gap with silicone I'm thinking of just cutting some plywood to fit.
Problem is how to finish the plywood so it blends with the white acrylic of the tray as close as possible. I was just thinking of using white gloss or eggshell paint.
Alternatively, anybody know how I can get some white acrylic that I can cut to size? If I do buy some acrylic, is there a particular specification that I need so that it will maintain its appearance in a bathroom environment?
Thanks
