yeah yeah i know there are plenty of other threads about this.... and they all say scrape off with a Stanley knife blade... which is nice :O)

but....

we have a couple of 'door lights' (glass above a door to let light into a hall way) unfortunately the glass is bubbled/textured so using a scraper will only get off the paint on top of the bubbles no round the sides (if that makes sense?)

are there any products out there that can be safely used in a situation like this (ones that don't harm the environment would be a bonus).

cheers

Is it gloss or emulsion?

I would try washing up liquid & pan cleaner (cant spell scower)

I've had some success with a rotary wire brush in an electric drill. Using a steel ruler to mask the surrounding woodwork as I go. Just watch them fingers. The corners were a bit of a s*d, I cheated and used paint remover there, just very carefully applied with an artists brush.
