paint stains on lino flooring.

hello, i have managed to stain my lino flooring with gloss and matt paint, i was scrapping it off with a windows scrapper then thought there must be an easier way, like a release agent. but i dont know what to go for any1 please help. chris.

is it lino or is it vinyl?

How long ago did you paint it?

hi painted it few weeks back, its totally dried now, and its lino thanks for you post, any clues.

true linoleum flooring will be difficult, as it's made of linseed oil mix on canvas. It is seldom used nowadays and quite expensive. Most solvents will dissolve the lino. You may need to contact the manufacturer.

Emusion paint will usually soften if you damp it well. Cover it with a sponge or cloth wet with water with a little washing up liquid in it,and by morning the emulsion should rub away with a coarse rag
