There isnt a paint called titanium white as such..

Its the pigment in the paint, titanium dioxide,...just stick to buying decent brands and not bargain bucket stuff and youl be ok

Titanium dioxide is a powder which is used in all oil based paints and is very expensive. the leading brands put enough in to make their paint work properly but cheaper brands like DIY own brands use less to bring the cost down. They then bulk the paint up with other less expensive chemicals. You get what you pay for in the end.
