At the moment, we have some awful vinyl floor in the bathroom. By pulling-up a corner I can see the original floorboards. I'd love to take-up all the vinyl and just paint the floorboards white.
But what do I need to do to:
a) Stop splinters etc. into bare feet
b) Stop water dripping between boards and staining the kitchen ceiling
