Painting a newly stripped ceiling

I've just stripped artex from my ceiling and wondered if I needed to use a primer or something before I emulsioned it.

It's pretty smooth but there are some grey patches where it's been taken right down to the plaster.

I've already given it a good wash to get rid of the dust.

What do you think?

Assuming that all prevous Plaster/Ames Tape/ Artex is all sound, then apply Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt and thin down first coat by 25% water. Then for the second coat apply a mix of Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt thinned down by 15% this time.
