Just used the water based Dulux undercoat and gloss with great success on skirting. On the tin it says for wood or metal

Does anyone have experience of using this on radiators?

Used it plenty of times, probably goes “yellow” quicker on the rads but easy to repaint

Acrylic has worked well on our rads. No smells and it doesn't yellow, though not quite as tough as oil paints - it is easier to use and dries quickly.

I been using the water based Ronseal radiator paint for a good few years now. It gives a great finish and a 750ml tin will actually do about 15 decent sized rads.
