Hi all,
I decided to paint the rear and side of the house in white as the previous owner had painted a horrid yellow.
I have finished the rear however i have a problem.

The side of the house has a single story extension (sloped roof) while standing on the roof i have done as much as i can reach by hand.
I do have a 2m extension pole but trying to hold the pole while standing on the sloped roof if much harden than i thought.

Cant see anything to hold on to and by using a roller you are pushing away from the wall.

Is scaffolding the only answer?

Thanks

You could install an Eyebolt into the gable end about chest height and secure yourself to it using a harness much like window cleaners use on commercial properties.
