Hi all,
was wondering what was the best way to seal mdf before painting?

Also can anyone recomend a cheap way to spray the mdf. I was thinking of using the spray guns for outside fencing? Would the nozel take the oil based paints?

Any recomendations on primers, undercoats or general tips would be much appreciated as ive got to get this right as its built units in a front room.

Thanks in advance

i built bookshelves out of mdf all i did was use B& the other wood primer and then one coat gloss, which i actually had to use two coats, but they look really good

On my radiator surrounds, I used mdf primer, lightly rubbed it down, then spary painted the fiddly grill (using appliance spray), then gloss painted the large areas, Im pleased with the result.
