Painting bay window "lead" flashings

The paint on our bay window "lead" flashings has flaked off (I say lead flashings, these seem more like aluminium or tin, they also have a slight tinge of surface rust in places. As far as I remember lead doesn't rust). What's the best stuff to paint them with? Here's a picture.

Metal primer and then a top coat such as Weathershield trade.
