Painting first coat of exterior paint onto fresh render.

Hello,
We have had an area of external render repaired and I will need to paint it. I have put two coats of stabilizer onto it. Normally I know that it would be necessary to put a diluted first coat of paint on first to soak into the pores but as I have stabilised it is this still necessary?

I would apply full fat masonry paint over it.

Dulux Trade do not recommend thinning paint applied over stabilising solution
