Painting Garage Doors??

Hi, I have a double garage which has 2 separate doors which I beleive are fibreglass. The previous owner looks like has rubbed them down ready to repaint/stain as they have "swirl" marks. My question is, can I use normal external stain or is there a special product I should use?

Stain is for woodwork, you need paint suitable for fibreglass.
