Are you going to fit in a grate and use it as an original Inglenook,

Have you looked up the chimney to see if the meat Hooks are in situ for smoking bacon etc .

Im going to get a stove installed (you can see it boxed bottom left!). Unfortuantely it was bodged back in the 80s and all the stone work was painted in a horribe thick white paint and the back of the bread oven badly cemented.
