Painting kitchen unit doors

Hi all

I have recently moved and have revamped the kitchen; new worktops, tiles, sink, sockets etc. The existing units are in good nick but are white and we would like to paint these a different colour.

Any advice on how to go about this and what to use would be much appreciated.

Give em a really good sanding with fine wet an dry paper then a coat of melamine primer or dulux super grip then paint em in the finish you fancy,,,,,id go fo satin myself.
