can anyone advise me. i HAVE HAD MY EXSISTING KITCHEN CUPBOARD DOORS OVERLAID WITH MDFAND WANT TO PAINT THEM. DO I NEED TO USE A PRIMER FIRST OR CAN I JUST USE AN EMULSION AND THEN A CLEAR VARNISH TO SEAL

You gan get M<DF primers @ diy stores...DON`T use emulsion

You can sometimes get away with emulsion.........but i wouldnt take the chance...id either use a mdf primer or thinned out masonry paint. (smooth)
