hi all

Our garage has 3 different walls ie.

1. Brick
2. Plastered Wall
3. Breeze block

all walls are not painted and the newest wall i sthe plastered wall which is about 6 years old.

id like to paint them all White but would like to damp proof the lower parts of the walls first for good measure.

what would be the steps i need to do?

in terms of prep and in which order?

Brick:
1. Damp proof paint
2. Masonry paint

Plastered Wall:
1. Mist Coat with cheap emulsion Paint (how much to dilute by?)
2. Damp proof paint
3. Masonry paint

Breeze:
1. Damp proof paint
2. Watered down Masonry paint to seal (how much to dilute by?)
3. Masonry paint coat

would that be correct?

also as i am wanting to paint White, what colour should the Damp proof paint be? white also?

Any help much appreciated, as im a bit confused!
