As the weather has got better I want to paint the outside of my house but need some help!

Some of the paint will be going straight on to bare yellow brick. Do I need to prime the surface first with a prime / stabilising solution or can i go straight on with Dulux weather shield masonry paint?

Some of the outside already has white flakey paint on. I've done my best with a metal brush to get the worst off and repoint where necessary. Can i go straight over this with the Dulux weathershield or does this need to be primed as well?

Thanks

You should be OK goung straight onto the Brickwork if its not dusty, but you will require a coat of stabliser on the flakey exterior paint.
