Unfortunately no. They are double glazed windows with wood frames. They are 13 years old and have only been painted once. They were painted about 10 years ago with Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain. I wanted to have a go at least doing the downstairs windows myself but don't know what I should do first.
give them a rub down first so the paint will adhere to the old stuff making sure all the flakey bits come off, and paint them with a good exterior wood paint, you could also mask up the glass if your hands are not that steady, but i just usually use a stanley blade to scrap off the paint afterwards.
