Hi, I'm looking to repaint the wooden interior window frames and window sills in my property but I don't know what kind of paint to use.

I'm not sure what type of paint is currently on them as they have been like that since I moved in.

I've attached a photo showing how it looks currently.

Can anyone advise what paint I should buy? I was just going to repaint them the same brown colour.

To my old eyes that looks like a plastic window and maybe even the cill o_O with a rosewood colour plastic finish ?

No it's all wooden. Any idea what paint to use to repaint the rosewood colour?

Varnish stain, its possibly Mahogany ( Quick Dry Satin Finish)

I was thinking of painting the wood so you can't see the grain with something like mahogany eggshell or gloss.

Anyone reckon it would be alright just so slap of some gloss or eggshell on top of the paint? Which one would look better for window frames and doors? Open to suggestions for better colours.
