In what order is it best to paint a room and how do i need to let each coat dry before i start on next area?

Ceiling
Coving
Walls
Windowcil
Skirting
 
In what order is it best to paint a room and how do i need to let each coat dry before i start on next area?

Ceiling
Coving
Walls
Windowcil
Skirting

Ceiling = 1
Coving = 2
Walls = 3
Windowcil = 4 or 5
Skirting =4 or 5

Drying times will be printed on the container.
 
Ceiling & coving together, drying time with trade emulsion approx 1 hour. Followed by walls - same drying time..
All woodwork together as soon as emulsion is dry.
I usually paint the walls and ceiling together but leave the wall to coving 'cutting-in ' 'til the covings dry
Drying times can be affected by temp/humidity but if it feels dry then it is dry :wink:
