Recent leak from toilet so had to cut plasterboard to access.

Can anyone suggest the best thing to over the openings either side which will look reasonably ok?

Thanks

I would box out at the height of the loo and run some skirting in front.

A bit bullnose windowboard for the top.

So window board either side at the top of the cistern?

Yeah just a little one, say 30mm to 50mm wide, then bit of board below and skirting over. If you fet the position right maybe the existing skirting could stay, put board over the top, then scribe in new skirting.

You have a line on the toilet that gives you a natural height to set.

Might use some cladding for the boarding
