Hi, i have just moved into a park home, i have brought with me some heavy bedroom cabinets, the type which hang on the walls. The walls are plasterboard. My question is - are the walls ok to take that sort of weight ? Thankyou.

Short answer is No.

They are normally made of plywood, are you sure it's not plasterboard over ply?

Hi thankyou for reply. They are internal walls so they are plasterboard. Have found a way to put them up, will soon know if they give, they are right above my bed lol. Fingers crossed.[/b]
