How can it be hands-free when you have to press buttons on the unit???

With the Parrot 3100 (and perhaps others) you can voice dial after you've set up the voice commands. So one press on the button and it beeps at you, you say "sharon", it repeats the name back to you and dials sharon, and also says sharon on the display. It also says "sharon" in your voice as the phone is ringing when sharon calls you. Excellent piece of kit. As long as you knw someone called sharon. Lol.

A quick google suggests it listens out for the keyword 'minikit' which will then put it into 'handsfree' mode. So as long as you don't drive past a sexy blonde wearing a short skirt and shout 'get yer mini kit off' you should be ok.
