you split it from another thread and locked them both....what thaught process did you go through to come to that????

you have locked the old one so he cant use it, fair enough but does it really need to be locked??

and then started a new topic, split the thread and then locked that aswell............

To answer your question.

I locked the post to prevent anymore replies while I was splitting the post. Kier had hi-jacked the post, but ban-all-sheds was writing a reply to kier when I locked the post.

So the only thing I could do was to lock both untill I corrceted it, which I have now done.

I also posted a note to ban-all-sheds, which he seems to have read.

as a gas fitter i need part p (yes that old subject)
i only need it to cover my self,just like having the correct acs assestments for the work i do.
so i welcome any others experience in electrical testing on boiler circuits.
