Please can you identify the white part which i have marked with an X.
It is from a HOOVER DF967 dishwasher.
This item fits between the cold water inlet & the salt dispenser by a hose at each end.
There are some numbers on it if any help at all 180200201...355...51038...51513

Level switch...P/N 41001361

Hi i tried to order the level switch you mentioned but was told the part i require is not the level switch ?
The photo below is what the level switch should look like.
Looking around the machine i can see this item but it is not what i require.
Is the part you give me the number for also another item called a level switch ?
The part in the photo is the other side of the machine.
The part i require goes between the water inlet solenoid & the salt softner dispenser.
I am now not sure what to do please advise.

Yes that looks like the part i require.
The number you quote is ok for my model ?
I can then go by that number to tack one down.
What is its function as the one on my machine makes a clicking noise now & then and drips.

Good; I am pleased we got there in the end. It is the device that measures water volume. :D

I just have to find one now,i phoned hoover/candy who told me that there is nothing between the inlet water solenoid & the salt dispenser ?
Obviously there is as this item is in between the two with a electrical connection fitted.

just a thought can you advise any other model of machine that this item is fitted to so i have more chance of finding it,thanks

Did you bring in this machine from overseas? Because the part list for your model (if purchased in the uk) does not show this "liter counter" on the drawing (hence the mix up with parts first time around). I suppose that is why they told you it isn't fitted in your machine. If it is purchased in the uk then the only explanation I can think of is maybe Hoover just threw in there what they had at the time. Nothing surprises me much any longer. These devices are fitted in many machines. The part number should be good for yours yes :D
