Hi I have spent a long time looking through building regs and forums to find an answer but forever reason I can't one. Basically is there a minimum size for studs in a partition wall for building control. Space is an issue so I would like to use 38x63mm CLS (2x3), is that acceptable? Can I still have studs at 600 centres or should I have educe to 400. The longest section of wall is 1.8m. I have building control coming round to check it next week, so don't want to have to redo it.

Thanks
