Microsoft word document password protected, its an old file OF MINE I have tried all my usual combinations of passwords no luck, have tried various freeware, still not opened it. Anyone got any links to free password crackers.

Have you tried downloading freeware which gives you the first and last character, it may jog your memory.

I dont want to buy a cracker, but if you could point me to a site that shows the 1st & last character I can probably work it out. I have tried lots of free stuff but as its over 4 characters they dont work for free.
