i have to paint walls that where previously wallpapererd , whats the bvest way to get paste completly off walls as i have been told it will show through on paint

Depends how much paste is on the walls. Use some detergent and give the walls a good scrub. You may need to use a broad scraper and slide this across the wall to get the biggest part of the paste off.
Painting over dried paste will activate it and make the emulsion flake off later.

I use paste remover mixed with hot water & a scouring pad , sponging off with clean water...
