City Fibre recently installed internet in my new house. They left me a spare fibre patch cable as I mentioned I may want to move the connection box after decorating.

What coupler do I need to join the cables? Both ends are different sizes and I'm finding it confusing to understand what I need to join the spare cable to the one coming in from the street.

Ps. The cable is a single module patch. The photos show each end of one single cable. I've just tapped them together temporarily so the cable doesn't work it's way out of the barrier pipe I've put it into before running it under the floor. Just thought I would say encase it looks like a double cable.

What they have given you is a LC/APC-SC/APC Singlemode Fiber Optic Patch Cable, I think they expected you to terminate one end into the box on the side of your house and then the other end into the GPON. In your last pic the top connector is what goes into the fiber module inside you house and the bottom goes into the connector block in the little brown box outside.

You can probably use a small pigtail and connector like the below to convert the bottom side back into an SC connector

I extended mine using one of the connectors from the above and then the below cable

I would order the first link, then connect it all up before laying the cable etc.. to make sure its all good.
