Hi,

There are a few areas on my garden wall where the render has become damaged and requires patch repairing.

I've removed the old damaged render in preparation for applying the new render but I can see the now exposed brick work is still very damp. After a heavy rainfall

So would i need to let the wall fully dry out before applying new render or is it possible to apply when the wall is still damp?

Thanks
Rob

No replies but i thought id update this post for any fellow diy'ers in a similar situation...

So I figured that id just put the render when the wall started to dry a bit.
It was still a bit damp but whats the worst that could happen!

If it goes wrong illl just re do it.
Did it 2 days ago and after another heavy rain its still on the wall looks okay and just needs a coat of paint.

If turns out to go wrong at some point down the line ill post back so u can laugh and learn from any mistakes I might have made
