Pic of what joe, the wall to be plastered ? Not sure if i can get pics from phone to pc, will try

is this just the lightweight i.e carlite bonding.
Yes but don't use it straight on to brick on a out side solid wall and don't stick your bead up with it or finish plaster.

Richard C, are you praying for one of the other old boy to come along or the rain to stop so you can finish cutting that hedge ?.

Never there when you need them  ; funny how you can get blasted for trying to help  . Think I maneuvered out OK & the rain did stop so I managed to get the hedge finished this afternoon/evening; but it’s not your common or garden ordinary hedge, this MF spans 100m & is around 8ft high  such are the pleasures of a rural retreat.

Back to the thread!

There is a suitable plaster for conservation work called Limelite
http://www.tarmac.co.uk/CMSPozament/LimelitePlasterproducts.aspx

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. The tarmac products look worth investigating, are they readily available or special order ( can't see any stockists mentioned on the site) ( i'll have to try the helpline when i get chance)

Special order, think Jewsons can get it, they had some in stock in Vauxhall some time ago when I needed it.
