Patio fall?

I'm redoing my patio as I now have an extension. It will wrap around the extension and be bigger. The existing patio has no fall (despite not having problems), but I think the new one should.

The minimum guidelines I've seen for the slabs I want are 1:80 for longitudinal and 1:40 for crossfall. 1:40 sounds like a lot and I'm wondering which one I should go for. Here's a link to the guidelines https://www.tobermore.co.uk/professional/faqs/what-are-the-recommended-falls-for-slab-paving/

There is a picture below of what I'm planning. The fall will go from left to right, with a channel drain and kerb to the right. The kerb is new and will leave a step up to the grass (not shown), which is annoying but probably can't be avoided. It's only 4.5m wide, so I would have thought 1:80 would be enough, but I would have thought this is a crossfall?

In reality, I may go for something like 75mm (one brick), which would be 1:60. What do people think? Have I come up with a poor design (with a step) or is this the right way to do it?

btw. I can't really lower the grass as it would then be a different level to the neighbors etc.
