Patio Mortar / cement Border

Hi All,

Garden maintenance work here.

As you can see we have a crazy paving patio area on which we have some repairs to the joint as these got damage from previous jetwash clean up.

Looking at the border, we can see some raw bricks and wondering if that should be taken care before more mortar fall off the border resulting in a more expensive job in the long run.

Is that something that can be done easily ? and if so, what would be the steps for this?

Preparation, what to do? What product to buy?
