Patio upto air brick

We’ve had an extension done but want to level off and concrete around the side and back to make it level for the little ones.
What is acceptable for the air brick? Can we pave upto the level of it with the fall away from the house with a channel drain across the front or is this asking for problem?

Might mean I need to make a step in front of the bifolds otherwise it’s a bit of a drop down

Most people seem to get away with the acco drain lower that the finished patio level or even a 100mmwide trough filled with gravel.
