Hi
i have 2 fans in my pc. One is cpu fan and another on the case. The hd monitor is only showing the cpu fan and the value! so am concerned why the other case fan is not showing the value? i have checked and the case fan is working any ideas ? thanking in advance.

It#s quite normal for monitoring software to only find certain sensors built into the Mobo. Case fan isn't normally monitored, although ambient temp in the case is. Case fans usually run all the time the computer is switched on. only CPU and GPU fans are usually controlled via software to run at different speeds to effect cooling.
I know on my Mobo the CPU fan has three speeds. When the computer is idle , it runs at low speed. If i'm surfing the web or doing some word processing , it might run at medium speed, but when I'm gaming it can kick into high speed for short periods.
