Hi all,

I have a property built around the 1820's, which has pebbledasing, it’s become apparent more so in the recent weather that the wall are not water tight and the pebble dashing needs to be replaced
I had varying quotes form Pebbledash/Rendering companies for removing the Pebbledash on the entire rear of the property, and rendering over.

I have also had a quote from a company that specialises n restoring brickwork, where they will remove the Pebbledsh and restore the brick work.

Lastly another builder that came round to do a quote, has advised the following, replace guttering, remove the pebbledash from the rear extension only and render, then render over the rest of the pebbleddash, is it a common practice / ok to render over pebbledash .

Would appreciate you thoughts and comments

Following on from the above, I would welcome recommendations for builders / tradesmen, to do in external and internal building/decorating working SE London
