Pebbledash repair mix

For a 1930s property, if you were to repair pebbledash what mix would you use for both scratch coat and finishing?

Presumably it should be a lime, sand and cement mix? In what ratio

Going to be painted eventually so not fussed about trying to get it matched to the existing dashing.

A 4:1 sand & NH lime mix.
Not necessary but you could Prep a dust free patch with SBR.
