Hi all,

I was wondering if someone can guide on this job.

My front house wall is plastered in pebbles. Long time ago we'd replaced the windows which left the edge of the plaster damaged but it was repaired just using Sand & Cement. It looks OK but I really want to make it look as it was before and paint the wall.

Do you know how I can put the pebble stone on? Do I have to put a light cote of sand and Cement prior to stoning? Or can I just put PVA and stick the Stone on? It’s only a very small portion of space.

Please advise.

Many Thanks

What you have is pebble dash. If its only a small area, hack it off and recoat it in sand and cement. For a small area the easiest way is then to flick it into the sand and cement with a trowel. Make sure you get a similar sized gravel to match it in with. PVA definetly wont work!
