Started rolling a ceiling this afternoon and the paint starts peeling off!
Proper pain in the posterior as obviously wasn't mist coated or maybe it was pva'd. Have stripped off several areas and rolled some thinned emulsion over it and will have to fill it.

So stopped rolling the ceiling as i need to get something on that will penetrate and bind down the paint. The obvious choice is peel stop but i've got a tin of gardz in the van and not sure if there's much between the two. Have just rung zinsser and the tech guy isn't in until 9.30 tomo, well i'd like to have the problem solved by then. Any of you guys any views? Also reckon i'll have to use a 4" brush as if i try rolling it on the paints gonna lift in even more places

Thanks in advance

I'm with Joe here mate, can't see that you will incurr any problems with it's use.
