Hello All,

Above has one of these:

s-l300.jpg

It appears to not be switching the heating "ON" now, in accordance with the programmed timings (it does however switch the heating "OFF").

I have reset it, and re-programmed it, without success.

I am currently switching the heating on manually, using the "hand" button to advance the programme to "ON".

Is it likely to be the timer, or something else?

In the event that the timer is kaput, what options are there for replacing it not with like, but with something that can be controlled remotely (the boiler is in a upstairs cupboard, so i have to run up and down the stairs to alter anything).

Thanks in anticipation :)

Centerbrand rf stat is the best thing to replace it with, you would need to wire it to boiler.
you can use potterton own rf stat, very simple to fit, no extra cables neede but they are expensive and crap!
