HI, I have built a summerhouse a few weeks ago, and it is within 2m of the boundaries. The summer house has a pent roof that is 8ft at front and 7ft at back. With the base the front is 254cm high so I am 4cm over the permitted 2.5metres height. Are councils likely to take action on 4cm?
Thank you

I don't know the answer, but I very much doubt that they would quibble over 4cm. If they do, raise the height of the garden near the summer house by 4cm.

Yes if you have an over nosy neighbour with a tape measure who reports you to the council!
