Hi there,
My 1998 Peugeot 106 went into the garage with a suspected head gasket problem (see other post). I had put £20 fuel in minutes before the car broke down and was then towed away to the garage.
When I collected the car the tank was empty and because of this, they said, they were unable to road test the car thoroughly.
Where did my fuel go? Presumably if I had a leak the garage would have spotted this? Therefore is it normal to 'lose' fuel when they are looking into head gasket problems?
Thanks for your help.
