Any one replaced a egr valve on a Peugeot 207 1.6hdi before if so are they hard to do tools required etc

Peugeot 207 1.6hdi egr valve replacement

No particular problems.....use a new metal gasket (it has a domed ridge which compresses and can only be used once successfully) and also a new ring clamp that holds the tube from the exhaust onto the EGR. This is crimped into place (like the clips on a drive shaft boot.) There are special pliers for this but you can get by using woodworking pincers.
