peugeot 306 heating doesn't work

I have Peugeot 306 1,9 Diesel 1998. Can anybody help me with this problem? I tried to find the valve, that opens heating, but it looks like it somewhere behind the glove compartment. If someone had the same problem, please give me some hint. Thanks guys!

First thing to check, is your temperature gauge going up to a normal position?
If not, could be a stuck open thermostat.

If that appears ok, could be that the flap covering the heater matrix is not opening. Usually cable controlled but sometimes servo motor, dont know on Peugeots.
