Started getting an "Oil Pressure Insufficient" message a couple of days ago. So far message only appears below about 2000 revs, but may be getting worse at it was initially only at about 1200. There is plenty of oil in the car.

I've been advised it could be a number of things - pressure sensor, filter, pump.

I've bought a sensor as a cheapish first thing to try but not sure where it is located as I don't have a technical manual for the car. When I bought the sensor the diagram at the parts centre looked like it was roughly at the front/middle of the engine block, underneath.

I can't see it but I can't get really far under the car without jacking it up, but I only have a normal car jack so was hoping to do this with the car on the ground if it's possible.

Anyone advise where the sensor fits or point me in the direction of a diagram I could refer to while looking at the car ?

Thanks
