Hello.

Citroen Xsara Picasso.

The Petrol pump symbol showing how many miles before refuelling required used to show about 400 on a full tank and get lower readings as the fuel was used up.

Suddenly it`s showing 2000 plus and keeps rising.

Is a sensor fauty or do I need to press a button somewhere?

Haven`t got the manual.

Also wing mirrors feel very stiff to fold in to prevent some tyke from damaging them.
Is there a button to press or twist . I don`t want to undue force ?

Has your MPG figure been geting higher too? AFAIK, the numbers all come from one computer which works everything out, including the distance to refuel. Could get expensive . .

Disconnect the battery for half an hour,
dont worry about the radio it will be fine.
our mirrors are dead stiff,
eventually they will break if you move them so dont

Sell the car ,we had one from new, apart from new dash, air bag control unit being replaced,it leaked oil from gearbox area from day one,3 years later 12 visits 6 months plus in the local dealerships workshops it still leaked, car was a pain in the arse from day one and dealership were next to useless. Replaced it with a VW touran which was well worth the extra money.

Problem solved.
I now have a manual for it and realise I had altered the trip settings.
All makes sense now.
Thanks
