Can anyone tell me the best way to hang paintings of the type that just have the canvas stretched over a deep wooden frame? I don't want to use a wire and hook as I want the whole frame flat against the wall. I have a couple of ideas but just wondered what the common way of hanging these was. Thanks.

I normally use these. A bit of accurate measuring required but one on either side of the frame will also stop it moving around.

You can hang flat against the wall using traditionla wire an hook.Wire has to be taught and placed just belowtop of frame.
